- 구성 요소의 물리적 특성이 한 점에 집중된 것으로 간주 가능
- 시스템 크기 << 신호의 파장
- distributed parameter system
- 구성 요소의 물리적 특성이 공간에 따라 다름.
- 시스템 방정식은 시간과 공간의 함수
- ex) 송전선, 도파관, 안테나
이외에도 가역적인지 여부에 따라 구분하기도 함.
